In order to clarify the research progress and trends of farmers' income increase, CiteSpace visualization analysis was conducted on the literature related to farmers’ income increase collected from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database.?The results indicate that the research process on increasing farmers’ income has obvious stages.?The correlation between the authors of the article is not high, and there are also some independent research scholars present.?Research institutions mainly conduct research through secondary colleges of higher education institutions, and some research institutions have cooperation and exchanges with each other, but overall the intensity is not high.?The research on keyword co-occurrence and clustering knowledge graph mainly focuses on the issue of farmers’ income increase and rural revitalization, the effect testing of farmers’ income increase issues, the influencing factors of farmers’ income increase issues, and countermeasures and suggestions.?Rural revitalization is the emergent word with the strongest emergence intensity.?Rural revitalization, common prosperity, industrial development, digital countryside, non-agricultural employment, and intermediary effects may be future research hotspots.
