In the double-carbon background, green finance, guided by sustainable development, combines environmental governance and financial business and guides financial capital to support environment-friendly economic development. Green insurance, as an important component of green finance, plays an active and vital role in the development of green finance and environmental protection, while digital technology, represented by block-chain technology, can empower green finance products such as Green insurance and unblock various blockages such as promotion difficulties and information asymmetry in its practice. Efforts were made to overcome the difficulties in promotion, information asymmetry and other plugs in the practice process, broke through the bottlenecks of risk assessment of green insurance, and eliminatees operational risks in mechanisms such as information security issues and lack of regulation, so as to provide new enabling paths and governance paradigms for the development and improvement of green insurance and other green financial products.
