With the booming development of the informatization and digitalization industries, informatization will continue to lead the changes and innovations in the field of education, helping to cultivate a new generation of more innovative and competitive talents. Based on the visual analysis of CiteSpace, the literature from China National Knowledge Internet（CNKI） and Web of Science(WoS) databases from 2012 to 2022 were selected, the literature about education informatization in two databases were analyzed , including the number of publications, authors, institutions, keywords, and summarizes the research hotspots. On this basis, an outlook on the development of education informatization is conducted, including deeply accelerating the integration of education and technology, fully recognizing the importance of digital transformation, and continuously improving the digital literacy and global vision of teachers and students.
