As the trend of population aging becomes increasingly evident, it is particularly important to build urban communities suitable for the elderly. Based on the research on the “ageing in place” model and the supportive environment of “age-friendly communities”, taking Lanhua 22 Block Community in Lanzhou City as the object, field surveys and ARCGIS were used to conduct a survey of the built environment of age-friendly communities and the street Kernel density analysis of public facilities. The research results show that various street facilities are less accessible to the elderly in the community. It should be conduct research on building a supportive environment from four aspects including aging-friendly living space within the community, community-based health experience, interactive emotional experience and active social participation.
