The data of Taobao village in Henan province from 2014 to 2022 was analyzed by using the methods of average nearest neighbor, nuclear density, standard deviation ellipse and geographic detector. The main conclusions are as follows. The spatial distribution of Taobao village in Henan province belongs to the cluster distribution, and presents the distribution pattern of “One axis, two centers, centralization in the central and western regions”. The spatial evolution of Taobao village in Henan province shows the diffusion characteristic of “From west to east, first north then south”, and at the city level, it shows the characteristics of gathering gradually and formed the high-density distribution area of Taobao village in Luoyang, Zhengzhou and Nanyang. The five factors which have great influence on the development of Taobao village in Henan province are government policy, Industry Foundation, Logistics Express, traffic condition and economic condition.
