Based on the coupling and coordination relationship between new urbanization and rural revitalization, taking Guizhou Province as the research object, an indicator system is constructed, and entropy weight method, coupling and coordination model, etc. are used to explore the degree of coordination between new urbanization and rural revitalization in Guizhou Province from 2010 to 2022. The results show that from 2010 to 2022, the development level of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Guizhou Province showed an upward trend, and the development relationship between the two was highly coupled, with the coupling coordination degree continuously increasing from 0.3085 to 0.9378, indicating a good development trend. Based on the research results In order to promote the sustainable development of Guizhou Province's economy by forming a positive interaction between new urbanization and rural revitalization, achieving coupling and coordinated development, measures and suggestions were proposed, including formulating comprehensive policy support, increasing capital investment, optimizing urban planning, improving agricultural production technology level, improving rural infrastructure, and strengthening urban-rural integration development.
