The development of the digital economy can promote the upgrading of the industrial structure. Based on the rich connotation of the digital economy, the digital economy development level of various cities at Hebei Province is calculated through the entropy value method, and a fixed effect model is used to analyze the driving role of the digital economy to upgrade the industrial structure. The impact mechanism of digital economy on the upgrade of industrial structure is studied. The results show that the development of the digital economy can significantly promote the advanced industrial structure and the speed of industrial transformation in Hebei Province, and the digital economy can indirectly promote the industrial structure upgrade by improving the level of human capital.
