Taking the 255 core documents on the coordinated development of technological innovation and economy of CNKI from 1992 to 2021 as the data base, with the help of CiteSpace software, authors, institutions and keywords were visually mapped separately to systematically sort out research hotspots and reveal research progress in the field. It is found that the year 2016 marked a turning point in the proliferation of publications in the field; the network of cooperation among research institutions in the field is not as closely connected as the network of cooperation among authors; the research hotspots in the field in recent years have mainly shifted to research on the coordinated development of technological innovation and the digital economy, research on the development of technological innovation finance, and research on the coordinated development of technological innovation and the economy under the guidance of the concept of ecological civilization.
