Abstract:Innovation driven high-quality development of county manufacturing industry is the basis for building a "manufacturing power". The panel data of 9 counties from 2016 to 2021 was selected to measure the innovation driving force and the high-quality development level of manufacturing industry in the county by building an indicator system, using entropy weight method and linear regression model, and the impact of the innovation driving force and various factors on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry was empirically analyzed. The results show that county level scientific and technological innovation significantly promotes the high-quality development of manufacturing industry, and the driving force of innovation is affected by the county level industrial structure and manufacturing scale. R&D investment plays a leading role in the county innovation system, and the leading and driving effectiveness of high-tech enterprises needs to be further improved. In the innovation driven environment, the innovation awareness of enterprises has been greatly improved, and the innovation efficiency needs to be further optimized.
