A comprehensive analysis of the development status of Zhaoqing’s local manufacturing enterprises is conducted. The problems encountered by its manufacturing enterprises during the digital transformation are studied by using data analysis and other methods. Finally, in view of the deficiencies of Zhaoqing manufacturing industry in digital transformation, relevant suggestions are put forward such as strengthening talent introduction and training, increasing technology investment, consolidating technology foundation, seizing government policy dividend, and adapting to future development trend to give?a?reference for the manufacturing enterprises in other cities.
