The level of digital economy development in Zhaoqing continues to improve, but it is still at a low level in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As one of the "4+4" important industries in Zhaoqing, industrial scale of electronic information industry continues to expand, and industrial layout continues to improve. Also, the digital transformation of electronic information industry accelerates. But in the digital transformation there are problems such as imperfect digital infrastructure, insufficient innovation ability, institutional guarantee system to be improved, etc. On the basis of learning from the development experience of Shanghai, Sichuan, it is suggested that Zhaoqing should scientifically lay out new infrastructure. Increase the intensity and precision of talent introduction, scientifically guide the digital transformation of enterprises, and provide policy support and institutional guarantees to achieve high-quality development of the electronic information industry.
