Large state-owned enterprises are not only the mainstay of the national economy, but also play an important role in the national strategic scientific and technological development. The necessity and current situation of cooperation between large state-owned enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes were analyzed in this paper. Some suggestions were put forward to promote the cooperation between large state-owned enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes from the aspects of improving industry-university-research cooperation system and mechanism, promoting the establishment of scientific and technological intermediary organizations, optimizing scientific research management and evaluation system.
