ASEAN has replaced the European Union as China's largest trading partner in 2020, while Yunnan borders some of its member states.With its unique advantages, Yunnan pilot free trade zone has a special mission and role under the new development pattern of "double cycle". Starting from the advantages of location, resources, transportation and policy of Yunnan pilot free trade zone, new development ways are explored, the development status of Yunnan pilot free trade zone from trade structure, tourism service trade and internal and external investment are studied , the existing problems are found out, and finally expounds how to better develop Yunnan free trade zone under the background of “dual circulation”.
