Abstract:The passenger compartment of the car can be regarded as a closed space while driving, in which there are various kinds of pollutants seriously affecting the air quality of the compartment and meantime endangering the health of the passengers. In order to purify the pollutants in the compartment and improve the air quality, firstly author tidied and analyzed the types of pollutants in the compartment and their adverse effects, then constructed an air quality evaluation framework that choses the degree of pollutants and comfortability in the compartment as the evaluation factors and applied objective composite index and gray-related analysis methods. Furthermore, according to the evaluation framework, an air quality intelligent measurement and control system with advanced purification technics had been established. Finally, a three-step management procedure of air quality in the compartment (Vehicle interior air quality, VIAQ), integrated air impact factors, air quality evaluation, selection of control and Purification strategy, had been summarized. The establishment of the system is of great significance to the improvement of air quality of the passenger compartment and future development.
