Since its establishment, Yunfu City has made remarkable achievements in economic and social development. Based on the analysis of the current situation and economic development environment of Yunfu industry, it is found that there are five short boards in its economic development: the unreasonable industrial structure, the weak pulling effect of industry on the economy, the limited role of market mechanism, the limited development of traditional industries, and the slow progress of the layout of emerging industries. The main reasons for the short board are the lack of investment in innovation factors, the lag in the construction of industrial carriers, the crowding out effect of traditional industries and the siphon effect of the Pearl River Delta. To make up for the shortage of economic development, we need to change the development mode, build a modern economic system, strengthen industrial docking, and optimize the business environment.
