The performing arts industry plays an important role in the aspects of boosting social economic development, promoting cultural heritage, and improving the quality of its nationals. Its development status also shows the soft power of a country and society, however, the performing arts industry is currently facing various difficulties in its development. How to get out of the difficulties is an issue that the performing arts industry and academia should think about. Based on the research status athome and the in-depth interviews with experts, this article uses the theoretical framework of industrial economics to analyze the retrospective effect, side effect and forward effect of the performing arts industry, and proposes countermeasures to promote the healthy development on the driving effect of performing arts industry.
