Abstract:Based on the decoupling theory, the industrial waste water discharge, industrial waste gas emissions, industrial solid waste discharge and Industrial added value were selected to carry out the empirical analysis of the decoupling relationship between Industrial waste discharge and industrial economic growth in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone from 2007 to 2016 by using Tapio decoupling index model. The results showed that the industrial wastes emissions and industrial economic growth in the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone were basically in an unstable state of incomplete decoupling, and there was no obvious evolution law. In terms of time, the decoupling status of industrial wastes emissions and industrial economic growth in various cities reached the best in 2013. In terms of space, the decoupling status of industrial wastes emissions and industrial economic growth in Nanning was the best.
