Industry transfer is an important way to promote regional coordinated development. Based on the practice of undertaking industrial transfer in the demonstration area of south and west hunan, it is shown that the construction of the demonstration area of south and west hunan undertaking industrial transfer still has problems such as insufficient regional linkage development, repeated construction and great pressure on ecological environment. To build a good demonstration area, further efforts should be made in highlighting the focus of industrial undertaking, optimizing the layout of industrial undertaking, improving industrial undertaking capacity, and promoting industrial innovation and upgrading.
