    摘要:

    机场腹地是吸引航空公司的原始资本也是规划航空运输网络的前提,测定机场腹地范围对航空公司、机场管理者、投资者以及政府管理人员都具有重要的意义。文章在综述测算机场腹地范围的各种方法之后,以京津冀机场群为例,使用同心圆法、等时圈法、Huff模型法、加权V图法等测算了该区域内各机场的腹地范围,并对不同测算方法下的计算结果进行了比较,结果表明:①同心圆法和等时圈法比较简单,能表现出机场腹地的重叠效应,但忽略了机场的综合吸引力,其计算结果与实际不符;②Huff模型由于考虑了机场综合吸引力和交通情况的影响,其计算结果比同心圆法和等时圈法较为客观,但该方法的计算结果会受机场综合吸引力弹性系数和距离衰减系数的影响;③加权V图法综合考虑影响机场综合吸引力的多种指标,且通过主成分分析得出机场权重,进而生成机场腹地范围,与Huff模型相比,该方法不用受相关参数的约束,其计算结果更加可靠。航空旅客手机信令数据为机场腹地测算提供了新的数据来源,未来应该充分利用航空旅客手机信令大数据,动态监测机场旅客腹地范围,并将大数据和小数据有机融合,在揭示现象的同时挖掘现象背后的机理。

    Abstract:

    Insight into the nature and size of the airport catchment area is important. The size of the originating market is a significant determinant of airport performance, in term of its attractiveness to airlines. And the catchment area analysis also helps airport managers and policy makers in the forecasting of passenger demand. However, calculating the potential size of the catchment area is not as straightforward. This paper reviews and discusses different methods that had been applied to measure the airport catchment area. And then, take the airport group of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei for example. We calculated the airports catchment areas using different methods (such as concentric circles method, isochrones method, Huff model and Weighted Voronoi Figure method). Finally, we propose the forecast to the future research on the airport catchment area measurement. We found that ①the concentric circles method and isochrones method are both simple. These methods need less data and could present overlapping effects of airport catchment. Unfortunately, these two methods don’t consider the comprehensive attraction of the airport, and the results based on these methods are not accord with the reality; ②the catchment area calculated by the Huff model is more reliable than the results of the first two methods, because the Huff model considered the total number of enplanements as the indicator for measuring the attractive. Nevertheless, estimating the parameters for the model is the hardest part of applying the Huff model;③The Weighted Vironoi Figure method can take into account many indexes for evaluating the catchment area of the airport, and don’t need to set the parameters. Therefore, the result based on this method seems better than that based on the Huff model.Future, we should take the full advantage of the cell phone signaling data for monitoring the airport catchment area dynamically, and in combination with the questionnaire survey to illustrate the mechanism behind the phenomenon.
