Low-carbon economy is the current trend of China's current economic development, and low-carbon science and technology innovation for the upgrading of eco-industry has a positive role in promoting. This paper analyzes the evolutionary model of the two roles by introducing low-carbon scientific and technological innovation to promote the ecological mechanism of ecological industry, and then analyzes the basic characteristics and operation modes of low-carbon scientific and technological innovation to promote the upgrading of ecological industry.
