The paper illustrates the regional innovation ecosystem by analogy with the natural ecosystem, and analysis the regional innovation ecosystem’s complex adaptation. The paper also discuss the evolution process of the regional innovation ecosystem by complex adaptive system, and focusing on the innovation evolution of both agents and from the agents to the whole system.
