Based on the data of all 83 listed companies in logistics industry in China， we have studied the relationship between management motivation and firm performance. We focus on the two main motivation methods including compensation and ownership and we choose ROE and EPS as indicators for measuring performance. The empirical results show that compensation has positive effect on firm performance， but ownership has no influence on performance.
