Based on the data of the analytical trees in controlling area of wind and sand source of Northwestern Shanxi,appropriate growth regularity models of branch diameter and branch height were established by using SPSS 16.0 and Sigmaplot 10.0 software. The average increment and current annual increment curves were obtained to analyze the growth regularity. The results showed that the Weibull model could fit the growth process of branch diameter precisely,whereas Gompertz model was the optimal model for the growth process of branch height. The growth rate was relatively high when the trees were between 3 and 8 years old. The current annual increment and average increment of branch diameter increased apparently at the year of 8,the highest value of the current annual increment and average increment of branch height was earlier than those of branch diameter.
