As a result of a long way of development,there have been 6 nuclear power plants and 15 running-nuclear power units in China until January 2013,with 1.97% of the national power generation capacity and 3.47% of global nuclear power generating capacity,which indicates the potential advantage of nuclear power in China. It is essential to make a economic evaluation because it is closely related to the future development of nuclear power in China. This paper reviews Chinese scholars’academic research of economic evaluation of nuclear power in China and framework and directions for future research on the subject are eventually proposed.
