Shanxi as China's mineral resources province, the mineral resources industry is a pillar of the province's economy. How to use of mineral resources efficiently, and how to promote the coordinated development of mineral resources exploitation and environmental protection are problems of Shanxi that needed to solve urgently. This paper based on the analysis of mineral resources industry development status and problems in Shanxi Province, put forward some suggestions on the acceleration of Shanxi’s sustainable development.
