In recent years the academic circle has probed into the concept，characteristic，evaluation index system and evaluation method of ecological residence．For the sake of providing references and experiences for the further research into the field，this paper presents a systematic review and summary of the research concerning ecological residence evaluation index system and the evaluation methods．
