Our country has a long history in the fishing industry and we have great resources at our disposal. In recent years, our fishing our fisheries have encountered regulation due to a fishery agreement was put into effect, signed by China with Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, also, pollution, over fishing and other issues have made our coastal fishery resources become very fragile. This issue for the fisheries has grabbed the attention of scholars who are seeking better solutions to a growing dilemma. In this paper, the author presents a summary of the work conducted by the scholars who are confronting the issue head-on, along with thoughts on where future research is headed.
