Industrial competitiveness is a comprehensive ability. From the perspective of new-type industrialization，industrial competitiveness can be deconstructed into three kinds of ability such as efficiency to allocation resource，technology and innovation ability，aggregation ability of capital and talent.The status quo and problems of industrial competitiveness in Henan province is that efficiency to allocation resource of three industry needing to be improved，the lack of independent innovation ability and core competitiveness，the industry concentration be not high, the lack of scale advantages. New-type industrialization has a positive effect and impact through some ways to build industrial competitiveness. This ways are conservation and efficient use of resources, information technology, industrial integration and so on. Henan should to take appropriate countermeasures and measures to promote industrial competitiveness.
