As with the growth of economy and development of living standard all around the world, tourism is on its way from sightseeing tour to a variable combination of sightseeing tour and leisure vacation. Aiming at leisure tourism promoting, learned from the development of leisure tourism in Taiwan, this paper suggests that Xiamen Gulangyu should enrich Tourism products as well as improving the quality of tourism service. The service function of Tourist Center should be optimized. At the same time, to invest heavily in bicycle leisure tourism and other specialty leisure tours on the island would be a good choice.
