By means of analyzing and comparing the latest data related the distribution, the proven conditions and production capacity of marine gas at home and abroad in detail, we elucidated the exploration and production technology of marine gas as well as Supporting facilities establishment in the position and role of marine gas exploitation. Here predominance of exploitation of deep sea gas and Arctic Ocean gas were particularly analyzed and investigated, indicating the necessity, urgency and strategies of accelerating the development of marine gas industry in China. Moreover, specific solutions to problems in exploring, exploiting and producing marine gas were also proposed in this paper.
