The entropy weight method was used to assess land use multifunctionality in Tangshan's 14 districts and counties from 2011 to 2021, based on the “three livelihoods” theory of national land space. Tangshan's land use multifunctionality from 2011 to 2021 was analyzed. It is found a continuous increase, with living functions changing the most and production the least. Strategies for enhancing multifunctionality to support sustainable development are put forward.
