Abstract:Traditional villages are the spatial carriers of China's vernacular farming civilisation and historical and regional characteristics, and they are important historical and cultural heritage. How to preserve the traditional features and maintain human-land relations is an urgent problem to be solved in the development of villages in the new era. The development strategy for the protection and renewal of Hanan Village in Wenxian County is explored based on the perspective of mending theory, determines "point, line and surface" as the mending method. The protection and renewal strategy of "multi-point connection, line connection and surface synergy" by summarising the current situation and starting are put forward from four aspects of architecture, industry, culture and ecology, and proposing the strategy of "multi-point connection, line connection and surface synergy". By summarising the current problems, a conservation and renewal strategy of "multi-point linkage, line connection and surface synergy" is proposed in the four aspects of architecture, industry, culture and ecology, with a view to providing reference suggestions for the conservation and renewal of villages of the same type.
