Abstract:In order to help ordinary college dormitory administrators to better manage college dormitories and students, and make up for the shortcomings in the traditional dormitory monitoring and management system, STM32 microcontroller was used as the core controller, the sound sensor was used to monitor the noise during the rest period of each dormitory, the smoke sensor was used to monitor fire hazards in the dormitory, and the infrared pair tube sensor was used to count the number of people entering and leaving the dormitory. Combined with LED display and GSM communication module and other peripheral circuits, the university dormitory monitoring and management system based on the internet of things technology is designed and implemented. The results show that the system meets the requirements of the dormitory monitoring and management of ordinary colleges and universities, with complete functions, stable and reliable operation, and easy maintenance. It can be seen that this system has certain practical application value.
