Abstract:Ground penetrating radar has advantages such as convenience and high resolution. In order to avoid ground subsidence caused by sinking of a receiving caisson, ground penetrating radar is used to detect the ground subsidence area caused by caisson construction, and the settlement range and formation voiding that may be affected by caisson construction are identified. Based on the introduction of the basic method of ground penetrating radar, combined with the engineering geological data and radar detection data of sinking wells in Oujiang Road, Wenzhou City, the types and scope of possible geological disasters are determined. Practice has proved that ground penetrating radar can accurately locate geological disasters such as ground subsidence range, distinguish between dense entities, and underground evacuations, and can provide guidance for engineering to take targeted safety measures.
