The medical and health industry is a sunrise industry in China, which can improve the residents' healthy living standard and promote the social and economic growth.Taking the health industry of Jilin Province as the object, this paper studies the future development direction of the industry under the background of innovation driving. The future development suggestions are put forward from several different perspectives, such as promoting the construction of relevant platforms and centers, cultivating outstanding talents and teams related to the industry, building a comprehensive medical and health industry base, and supporting innovative enterprises in the research and development of medical and health technologies. The aim is to provide constructive suggestions for the establishment of a new mode of scientific and technological innovation development for the pharmaceutical and health industry in Jilin Province.
